How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To
When you reach out through Setinsweet Tree Service, you end up talking with an independent tree provider in our network. That provider runs its own business, sends its own crew, and writes its own quote. Setinsweet Tree Service is the connection, not the contractor.
What Happens After You Reach Out
The flow is simple:
- You describe the tree and the yard, ideally with a few photos.
- A provider in our network gets in touch to ask follow-up questions.
- The provider may visit, or look over photos, before giving a written quote.
- You compare, ask questions, and decide.
Timing depends on the provider and on how busy the weather has kept everyone. Request a callback to check provider availability if you want to talk it through.
What to Ask a Provider
A good quote conversation is worth ten minutes. Try these questions:
- Is the quote in writing, and what does it cover?
- Does the price include cleanup, hauling, and wood chips or logs?
- Is stump grinding included, or priced separately?
- Can you show proof of license and insurance?
- How will you protect the roof, fence, lawn, or irrigation lines?
- How will you handle cutting near power lines?
- What could change the price on the day of the job?
Typical U.S. tree removal jobs can run from a few hundred dollars for a small tree to several thousand for a large or tricky one, and storm work or crane use can add more. Costs vary by job, so get a written quote.
You Are in Control
Asking for an estimate does not lock you into anything. You can compare providers, say no, or wait. If a provider pushes you to decide on the spot or will not put the price on paper, that is a good moment to step back.
For storm damage, stay clear of leaning trunks, hanging limbs, and anything tangled in wires. Take photos from a safe distance. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy, and providers can often help document damage for a claim.
